This Perfect World by Suzanne Bugler - REVIEW

This Perfect WorldThis Perfect World by Suzanne Bugler
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book really is an adventure, not only has Laura got to deal with her two children and a husband whom is barely there, she facing the bad things she did as a child creeping back up on her. Soon she finds she's back up to some of her old tricks; such as making other people suffer for her own enjoyment but of course, it's only a joke... It just got too far...
Laura's life changes dramatically in such a short space of time due to Mrs Partridge, an old family friend and the mother of the girl she used to bully so frequently at school, Helen, abruptly arrives back into her life: Helen self harmed herself too much and was unfit to be at home and was taken into a mental hospital. Laura finds herself doing all that she can to help Mrs Partridge and reveals some secrets as to why she was so unfairly forced to be 'nice' to someone whom she loaves.

This story takes a while to get into but once the story takes off, it keeps you captivated for the journey to come.

Linger by Maggie Stiefvater- REVIEW

Linger (The Wolves of Mercy Falls, #2)Linger by Maggie Stiefvater
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Okay... Well first of all, I really thought this book would be AMAZING considering I LOVED shiver and could not wait to get more after I finished the first book, however, in my opinion it was a big let down.
In shiver, you are greeted with the love Sam and Grace have for each other and the adorable way they met over the years without knowing they were actually meeting each other; furthermore in Linger you were still given the passionate love between them, although when Grace turns into a werewolf and escapes out the hospital window and Sam does not chase after her (as you would if you were deeply in love with someone) I believe it ruins the image the author is trying to portray of them being deeply in love and believing to have found their soul mate.
By the end of the book, I was very upset to have found that Sam was no longer a werewolf but had passed it onto Grace and then just left her to jump out the window, without chasing after her.
However, many other people I know who had read Linger, completely disagree with me and believe it to be amazing, so I suppose it is up to you to decide.
In conclusion, the book was pretty good up until the very end where I was disappointed. On the other hand, Forever may boost the story back up again but I am too scared to read it as it may ruin my favourite story all together.

If anyone has read forever and think it is worth reading and shouldn't ruin the storyline, let me know and I'll read it.

The Liar Society by Lisa Roecker - REVIEW

The Liar Society (The Liar Society, #1)The Liar Society by Lisa Roecker

This book is a great book if you are looking to get away from paranormal fiction and transition to just plain teenage fiction.
Kate is struggling to cope with her best friends death that happened a year ago; she's sure there is more to it than just an accident and she is determined to get proof. Then she starts to get emails from Grace's email address giving her clues as to where to look for the evidence to prove it wasnt just a freak accident. But is this a ghost? or is there more to it? After Grace's death, Kate lost all her friends, except her love-struck neighbour and the new bad boy, Liam. Will they win the battle between the Sisterhood and the Brotherhood or will no one believe the truth?

This book is a great read, I really enjoyed it and hope there's a sequal.

Fairy Tale by Cyn Balog - REVIEW

Fairy TaleFairy Tale by Cyn Balog
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Well, what can I say... This is book touches the edges of dark paranormalcy, glides through a rocky romance, all the time the paranormal parts are flying around.

Morgan and Cam have known each other since birth and have always been neighbours and (not surprisingly) are very much in love. However, little do they know that Cam is a Changeling and needs to return to the fairy kingdom to become King. Cam was born in the fairy kingdom, but was swapped with a human baby due the fact Cam was supposed to die- he never did, so now it's his time to return and for an unexpected visitor to return home and take his place.

This book is a good read however, I have read better: this book is good for a time-waster, but still worth reading!

Tessa In Love by Kate Le Vann- REVIEW

Tessa In Love (Cosmo Girl)Tessa In Love by Kate le Vann
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Kate le Vann really captures a perfect teenage love story for those who desire it. Wolfie is a scruffy unusual boy and Tessa is falling in love fast. She has never been into activist's until this very special one came along. However, Wolfie is older than her and is ready to move onto a job, so whilst she goes back to school, he goes travelling... will she ever see him again??
This book reveals the true feeling for first love and the how people cope with sudden heart-break. VERY sad ending, but definitely a worth while read. Kate le Vann

Rules of Attraction by Simone Elkeles -REVIEW

Rules of Attraction (Perfect Chemistry, #2)Rules of Attraction by Simone Elkeles
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This book is one of my favorite books of all time! If you love a cute teenage romance and enjoyed Perfect Chemistry, then this book should on your wishlist. Much like Perfect Chemistry, Carlos Fuentes is a bad boy who falls in love with a kind, upper-class American girl, Kiara Westford who is unsure how to respond to all this sudden attention from a boy - let alone a bad boy. Furthermore, Carlos is just as confused by his ever growing feeling for Kiara and has no idea what to do about them. This book was completely un-put-downable and I would read it over and over again.

Beastly by Alex Flinn - REVIEW

BeastlyBeastly by Alex Flinn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book was AMAZING. Alex Flinn really captures the original story of Beauty and the Beast and has taken a modern twist to the story. Kyle Kingsbury has it all: the girls', the money and the looks. He doesn't have to try for anything. Until one day... A new girl starts his school and in his eyes, she is ugly. However, little does he know that she is a witch who is about to turn him into his worst nightmare which later turns him into such a disgusting creature, that not only does he friends dislike him but his father, too disowns him.
There is a cure.... Loves first Kiss will break the spell, who will break it? Will it be broken?
I would recommend this book to ANYONE. It is an amazing adaptation.

Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles - REVIEW

Perfect Chemistry (Perfect Chemistry, #1)Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book is by far my favourite book ever! If anyone is really interested in paranormal romance and is trying to find away to break away from paranormal to just romance, well then this is the book you are looking for!
Alex and Brittany are the most unlikely couple to ever have fallen in love, however after being forced to work together, it is soon easy to notice how they are falling for each other...
Brittany is not like all the other girls Alex has dated, in fact she is nothing like the other girls. She, for one is a very white, very blonde, very rich girl from the other side of town and if it had not been for their chemistry lessons, I am pretty sure their worlds would never have collided in a million years. Alex on the other hand, is from the roughest part of America and his own personal background is not too pretty either. After his father was killed trying to escape the Latino Bloods, Alex's fate had already been set if he wanted his family to survive. However when he met Brittany, everything changed, he had hope. A ray of sunshine at the end of the tunnel... Which path will he choose?
